SANTA MONICA - Get ready to be scared silly when Genius Products, Inc. (OTCBB: GNPI), and Dimension Films release the $90 million box office smash Scary Movie 4 on DVD August 15, 2006. Legendary comedy director David Zucker (Airplane!, Naked Gun, Ruthless People) and producer Bob Weiss reunite to take aim at some of the best fright films and our favorite celebrities in Scary Movie 4. The film that Shawn Edwards (Fox-TV) calls the best Scary Movie yet! features an all-star cast including Anna Faris (Brokeback Mountain) and Regina Hall (Kings Ransom) who are back as the loveable, dim-witted Cindy Campbell and her self-serving, sex-crazed pal, Brenda - joined this time around by Craig Bierko (Cinderella Man) as the cute-but-utterly clueless Tom Ryan. And, in true Scary Movie tradition, the outrageous celebrity cameos are non-stop with appearances by Carmen Electra, Shaquille ONeal, Dr. Phil, Bill Pullman, Chris Elliott, Molly Shannon, Michael Madsen, Leslie Nielson, and many more.
Scary Movie 4 is available in both unrated and theatrical widescreen versions for an SRP of $29.95. The DVD contains 15 deleted and extended scenes with optional commentary, bloopers, and feature commentary with Zucker, Weiss and writer Craig Mazin. What do you get when you mix fearless comedic genius with the latest box-office blockbusters? You guessed it. This time around, the ever-naive Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris), seeking a career in home healthcare, finds work with a creepy old lady in an even creepier old house haunted by a ghostly presence. Throw in a good-looking guy next door and the threat of aliens intent on global domination and Cindys instantly up to the top of her extremely blond head in danger. Our fearless heroine catapults into action once again struggling to decipher ominous messages from the beyond, looking for love in some very weird places and trying to save the world from mass destruction. As she struggles to discover life-saving answers, Cindy encounters horrific plane crashes, bodacious blind girls, village idiots, disheveled rappers, kinky contraptions, psycho survivalists, alien sphincters and even Oprah! Its a relentless invasion of non-stop, fall-on-the-floor laughing jokes.
