KIWI KILLER MOVIE SET FOR U.S. RELEASE

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - The Weinstein Co. and IFC Entertainment have co-acquired North American rights to the serial-killer drama "Out of the Blue."
Tentatively scheduled for a May bow, "Blue" tells the true story of New Zealander David Gray, who shot and killed more than a dozen people in his small hometown. It premiered in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The film is set for theatrical and video-on-demand distribution though IFC's First Take program and a DVD release through Genius Products.
