Extensive Slate of Original Movies to be Produced for ION Media Broadcasts and Genius Home Video Distribution

Production to Commence in Fall 2007

(New York, N.Y., and Santa Monica, CA May 14, 2007) RHI Entertainment, LLC. and Genius Products, LLC. announced today a plan to co-produce up to 48 original movies for initial U.S. broadcast exclusively on ION Media Networks and direct-to-video release. This new programming for ION will be part of the already committed 12 hours of RHI programming per week scheduled to begin on June 29, 2007.

Genius and RHI will co-produce genre specific projects to include up to 24 “Westerns” and 24 “Greatest Adventures”. The first two “Westerns” (Lone Rider and Prairie Fever) and two “Greatest Adventures” (Journey to the Center of the Earth and Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde) will commence filming in 2007.

Last winter, RHI Entertainment announced a multifaceted strategic partnership with Genius Products, which included a multi-year distribution agreement whereby Genius would be the exclusive U.S. home video distributor of RHI’s extensive library of television motion pictures, miniseries and series programming. The two companies also contemplated a future co-production agreement with RHI, which has now come to fruition.

Under the terms of the new RHI/Genius agreement, Genius products will have exclusive worldwide home video and digital distribution rights for the RHI/Genius co-productions while RHI Entertainment will distribute these movies to television networks worldwide.

Under the terms of the existing RHI/ION agreement, RHI Entertainment will serve as ION’s exclusive television programming supplier on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. RHI will schedule and program the 7pm to 11pm time periods utilizing its prolific catalog of over 300 titles while also introducing at least 12 U.S. Broadcast Premieres each year.
